Starting your journey with Glossopdale Sixth Form couldn’t be easier. Listed below are a range of A Level and vocational courses that you could study with us.
Once you have your 3 choices and a reserve, simply add them to the relevant section on the application form and send it to us to be processed. If you want to discuss your course choices, you can email sixthform@glossopdale.school or phone 01457 862336.

You will study 3 or 4 subjects, across the two years and sit examinations at the end of the course. You may also choose to complete an EPQ to supplement your UCAS application. This pathway is suited to students who might be planning an application to a Russell Group university or competitive degree course. |
You will study a combination of A Level and vocational courses. You will study 3 courses over 2 years and be assessed via examination and coursework. This suits students who need vocational skills and experiences for university or their chosen career. |
You will study vocational courses such as Business, Health, Sport, Criminology, Drama, Creative Media etc. You can take 3 as Extended Certificates - worth 1 A-Level, or some courses are diplomas (worth 2 A-Levels) or Extended Diplomas (worth 3 A-Levels). Your lessons will be a mixture of practical skills and theory. You will be assessed by both examination and coursework assignments |
