Safeguarding

Safeguarding Statement of Intent

At Glossopdale School and Sixth Form, we create a safe environment for all of our children and young people through robust safeguarding practices. Safeguarding is the responsibility of all staff, governors and volunteers; we ensure that all staff are regularly trained, know how to respond to concerns, and keep-up-to-date with evolving policy and practice. Safeguarding underpins every practice and procedure in operation at Glossopdale School and Sixth Form. School staff, governors and volunteers are in a position of trust and we will endeavour to put the child / young person first and protect them from harm, as well as addressing the needs of our local community.
