Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above in different subjects including English and Maths. A grade 5 in English Language is desirable.
Course Overview
Criminology is the study of crime and criminals and involves examining the causes of crime, the impact of crime and the typical criminals and victims. Criminologists attempt to understand what motivates criminals to act in the manner they do.

Where will it lead?
Studying Criminology could lead to work with employers such as the National Probation Service, the Courts and Tribunals Service or the National Offender Management Service. This course enables students to progress to university studying subjects such as Criminology, Law, Psychology, Social Work, History, Geography, Planning and Applied Social Science.
