Covid-19 National Testing Programme

September 2021

Students will be invited to take two Covid tests in school on their return in September. Students under 16 need the consent of their parents; those over 16 can self-consent.

Home Testing September 2021

After receiving two tests in school, students are encouraged to continue home testing until the end of September.

The home testing programme is to identify students who are asymtpomatic and may be carrying the virus. If your child has symptoms or tests positive with a PCR test, please do not send them into school. You should follow government guidance and they should self-isolate for 10 days.

Please email covidpositivetest@glossopdale.school if your child tests positive. This inbox is monitored at evenings, weekends and during the school holidays. 

Parents/students need to report twice weekly test result both to the school and NHS Test and Trace. Please use the links below:
